These thin handmade stars are created by rolling porcelain on a slab roller. Once the slab is prepared and smoothed a starburst texture is added. Each star is then cut out and finished. This star is glazed a juicy turquoise icy blue glaze and then once glazed fired has been hand painted with real mother of pearl luster and fired a third time. The backs are unglazed porcelain. They come strung on a ribbon ready to hang.
