These thin handmade Christmas trees are created by rolling porcelain on a slab roller. Once the slab is prepared and smoothed an each tree is cut, carved and decorated by hand adding various details and slip trailed garlands and baubles. Finally the trees are finished with real gold and platinum lusters and fired a third time in the kiln. The backs are unglazed porcelain. They come strung on a ribbon ready to hang.
