This is a one-of-a-kind art jack-o-lantern, individually crafted by hand.
This porcelain jack starts as a wheel thrown trapped air form. The face is hand cut, the stem pulled, attached and carved. This porcelain jack is glazed in a metallic glaze with crystals and deep purple stem. The glaze shifts with light and angle reflecting many colors like a beetle shell giving this jack a unique rustic patina. Greens, coppers, bronze, purples, and rusted metals abound. A truly unique surface. The interior of this jack is unglazed porcelain in order for this special exterior glaze to fire properly.
