This porcelain pumpkin box starts out as a wheel thrown from that I trap the air inside. The air trapped form is then sculpted and trimmed. The stem is pulled by hand, attached, and carved with details. The box is then glazed all over in glossy clear. Finally, its coated in a flame orange luster and then fired a third and final timesaving it a unique orange sheen. Stem is glazed in satin green.
