This porcelain jack-o-lantern starts out as a wheel thrown form that I trap the air inside. The air trapped form is then sculpted and freehand carved. The faces are 100% original creations of my own and each Jack has a slightly unique character and expression. The stem is pulled by hand, attached, and carved with details.
Prismatic jack was glazed in a glossy black. Once fired it has then been hand painted with real mother of pearl luster and then fired again revealing a prismatic metallic rainbow surface resembling an oil slick. Clear Interior. Violet Luster stem.

Your jack-o-lanterns should be kept away from extreme heat or cold to avoid thermal shock. Flameless battery operated tea lights or votives are recommended.
