These porcelain jack-o-lanterns start out as a wheel thrown form that I trap the air inside. The air trapped form is then sculpted, cut, and freehand carved. The faces are 100% original creations of my own and each has a slightly unique character and expression. Your jack-o-lantern will be similar in likeness to the ones shown in the pictures, but may vary in expression. The stem is pulled by hand, attached, and carved with fine texture details. The pumpkin is fired 3 times; first bisqued, then glazed in your choice of gloss clear or satin black glazes. After the glaze firing, the faces and stems are hand-painted with gold or platinum luster and fired a third and final time.

Average size of mini jacks: 4 × 4 × 6”H

Average size of regular jacks: 6x6x8”H

Your jack-o-lanterns should be kept away from extreme heat or cold to avoid thermal shock. Flameless battery tea lights or votives are recommended.
