Wheel thrown and hand built salt and pepper shaker set. This porcelain set was wheel thrown and then split, then hand built slab parts were added and the set was decorated with carved art deco inspired suns and raised slip trailed dots that add a wonderful tactile quality. Glazed in my classic Bermuda glaze with Pear suns that have been accented in a third firing with real Mother of Pearl luster. The Mother of Pearl creates a beautiful rainbow irridescent effect over the suns. The shakers have silicone plugs in the bottom for easy refilling.
